Minnesota Weather: Rain, Cool Temperatures Return This Week

TWIN CITIES, MN — Central Minnesota will have one more day with warm temperatures and very low afternoon humidities resulting in an elevated fire risk.

Rain will come Tuesday overnight into Wednesday and Friday into Saturday. The clouds and rain will bring a return to below-normal temperatures by the weekend.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 85. West southwest wind around 10 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 75. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m., then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., then showers likely after 4 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 57. Southeast wind around 10 mph.

Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
