TWIN CITIES, MN — Expect mostly sunny, clear skies this weekend, with showers coming Saturday night. There is potential for a serious storm Monday.
"There is a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms Monday night across southern Minnesota," says the National Weather Service. "The main threat would be damaging wind. This forecast will likely change over the next few days."

Saturday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 1 a.m. Increasing clouds, with a low around 65. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
