Missing Fridley Woman's Body Found In Mississippi River: Police

Authorities confirmed Monday that they located the body of a 48-year-old Fridley woman missing since Nov. 14.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A Fridley woman missing since Nov. 14 has been found dead in the Mississippi River, according to different outlets.

Angelique Christine Lepsch, 48, was last seen leaving her home in Fridley at around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 14, according to the Minneapolis and Fridley police departments.

On Monday, Minneapolis police confirmed that Lepsch’s vehicle was found near the Lowry Bridge in Minneapolis, and police told Bring Me The News she was last seen on surveillance video wearing dark clothing, a backpack, and a hood over her head.

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office told Bring Me The News that a water patrol team recovered a body from the Mississippi River. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to release more information, including a cause of death, in the next few days, KSTP reports.
