MN Weather: 50 Percent Chance Of Thunderstorms Thursday

TWIN CITIES, MN — There is a good chance for showers and thunderstorms Thursday in the Twin Cities, according to the latest forecasts.

"Temperatures will go on a gradual rise through the rest of the week into the upcoming weekend," the National Weather Service said. "Along with the warmer conditions, chances for showers and thunderstorms will also increase a bit."

Wednesday: Widespread haze before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. South wind around 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. South wind 5 to 10 mph. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light southwest in the evening.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming west northwest around 5 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. East southeast wind around 5 mph.
