TWIN CITIES, MN — Mild temperatures will end ahead of the weekend in the Twin Cities metro area. Wind chill values will approach 20 degrees below zero this weekend as another round of Arctic air arrives Friday night.

Here's the full National Weather Service forecast for the Twin Cities metro area:

Friday: A slight chance of snow before noon, then a chance of flurries between noon and 1pm. Cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 13 by 5pm. Breezy, with a northwest wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday Night: Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around -4. Wind chill values as low as -17. Blustery, with a north northwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 8. Wind chill values as low as -18. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: A slight chance of snow between 8pm and midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -6. Wind chill values as low as -17. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 10. North wind around 5 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon.

Sunday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 12 by 5am. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west after midnight.
