MINNESOTA — If you’re deep-pocketed enough to afford it, a $12,000,000 mansion in Pequot Lakes could give you the opportunity to purchase the most expensive home for sale in Minnesota.

The most expensive homes on the market in the U.S. range in value from $225 million in California to $3 million in Nebraska, according to the real estate platform Point2Homes.com, which put together a list of the most expensive homes in for sale every U.S. state,

While movie theaters, gyms, tennis courts and waterfronts are often the norm for pricey homes, some of these include private parks, private docks, horse barns and even underground tunnels.

In Minnesota, the most expensive home sits on a 3.17-acre private peninsula on the Whitefish chain of lakes. In addition to the mansion itself, there are six different detached guest houses on the property.
