Mother, 23, Arrested After Baby Found Deceased In Minneapolis
Minneapolis police are investigating the incident as a homicide.
MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police arrested a 23-year-old mother Wednesday after they found deceased a 2-month-old infant.
Just after 3 a.m., police officers found the deceased infant with signs of trauma at the 900 block of 22nd Avenue South. The mother was arrested and booked into Hennepin County Jail on probable cause murder.
Formal charges have not yet been filed. Police are investigating the incident as a homicide.

The identity of the infant and cause of death will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.
