MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Longtime newscaster Heather Brown will co-host WCCO Mid-Morning with Jason DeRusha, the local CBS affiliate announced Wednesday. She is replacing Kylie Bearse, who left in April to join the weather team at 9News in Denver.
Brown will continue producing WCCO's "Good Question" during the evening news.
"As someone who worked at WCCO for a long time and then got the chance to step up and anchor a show, it's so encouraging to see another great reporter and colleague get the chance to shine," DeRusha wrote on Facebook. "We have great people here. Heather Brown is going to be a terrific addition to MidMorning - I can't wait!"
