Nice Ride Minnesota To Offer Free Rides On Election Day
Nice Ride says its free transportation option on Election Day aims to reduce transportation barriers to voting.

MINNEAPOLIS — Election Day is next week, and if you need help getting to the polls, one company in the Twin Cities will have you covered. Nice Ride Minnesota — the bicycle sharing system — will offer free rides on Election Day.
On Nov. 6, riders can unlock a day pass for free, valid for unlimited 30-minute trips on any of the nearly 1,200 dockless blue bikes. To activate the pass, use code BIKETOVOTE in the Nice Ride app.
According to one study by The Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement, 29 percent of young Americans surveyed said that transportation was a reason that they did not vote in the 2016 presidential election.
