Philando Castile Shooting: Photos From The Scene Released

Photos from the scene where Philando Castile was fatally shot by St. Anthony police officer Jeronimo Yanez were released Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the state government body that was responsible for investigating the fatal July 2016 shooting of Philando Castile by St. Anthony police officer Jeronimo Yanez, made its case file public. The release included photos, documents, and a dashcam video that shows Yanez firing seven shots into Castile's vehicle.

Castile's final breaths immediately after the shooting were streamed publicly on Facebook Live by Diamond Reynolds, Castile's girlfriend.
