Photos: Twins Announce 2017 Food Offerings At Target Field

Mediterranean-style skewer flatbread sandwiches, Polish sausage, and a crispy bacon sandwich are among the new foods at Target Field.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The Minnesota Twins announced Thursday a variety of new and returning menu offerings to be served during the 2017 Major League Baseball season at Target Field, including local Twin Cities favorites.

Brand new to the ballpark is 4 Bells, a popular restaurant in the iconic Loring Park neighborhood known for its southern comfort foods. The 4 Bells cart (section 114) will offer its namesake shrimp boil featuring shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage from the Butcher and the Boar.

Another Minneapolis-area favorite, Murray's Steakhouse, will be reinventing its Target Field experience with a new cart in section 116, which will be serving fresh-shaved smoked beef sandwiches.

Sandwiches will be served on a roll toasted with Murray's famous garlic butter and comes with house-cut seasoned chips.

Fans looking for healthy options will have several new choices at Target Field, including The Herbivorous Butcher's popular vegan specialties.

The Herbivorous Bucher will be paired with the MSP Kosher Hot Dog cart at section 129 and will serve its meat-free Sriracha Brat and vegan Italian sausage.

Hot Indian Foods will also expand its menu to include a healthy option of substituting a seasoned kale salad for the traditional rice base on Chicken Tikka and Vegan Aloo Gobi dishes.

Andrew Zimmern's Canteen-Skewers will introduce new Mediterranean-style skewer flatbread sandwiches at section 114.

Fans can choose their favorite meat and each sandwich is served with roasted eggplant spread, herbed yogurt sauce and tomato-cucumber.

New offerings at the section 120 stand will include a crispy bacon sandwich and the Sloppy Ko, Korean-style BBQ beef with kim chee, boiled egg and served on a flat bread.

The Cookie Cart, an urban non-profit bakery that provides teenagers with meaningful work, life and leadership skills, will operate a cart at section 101 during Saturday and Sunday games throughout the season.

The cart will offer a selection of cookie packs, iced TC Cookies and seasonal beverages with a portion of the proceeds benefiting The Cookie Cart, according to a news release.

Several Target Field favorites will be expanding their offerings in 2017, including:

  • Turkey to Go, shredded Minnesota-grown turkey sandwich topped with Ken Davis Barbecue Sauce or dry Cajun seasoning, will be expanding to the State Fair Stand (section 133) in addition to sections 112 and 317.
  • Kurd-Marczuk's (section 100 cart) will be serving up cheese curds and chopped Kramarczuk's Polish sausage, served together in a bowl and topped with brown gravy.
  • Senor Smokes (sections 105 and 305 stand) will be introducing a Barrio chicken burrito and fans can now order their fresh guacamole and chips.

Many favorites from years past will be returning to the ballpark in 2017 as well, including but not limited to Minnie and Paul's, Pizza Luce, Red Cow, CATCH, Barrio at Senor Smokes, Izzy's Soft Serve, Izzabella's Gelato, Kramarczuk's Sausages, Angie's Kettle Corn, Turkey To Go, Tony O's Cuban Sandwich, Andrew Zimmern's Canteen, Roots for the Home Team, Mac's Walleye and Chips, Pepsi, Old Dutch Chips, Taste of Schwan's, Schweigert Hot Dogs, Sheboygan Sausages, Dairy Queen, J&J Snacks, Anheuser Busch, Summit, Koops Mustard, Aquafina, Papa John's, Giant Snacks, Super Mom's Mini Donuts, Killebrew Root Beer, Funacho, Pan O' Gold, Fisher Nuts, Caribou Coffee, Barrio at Gate 6, Murray's, Darby's, Surly, Fulton, Lift Bridge, Blue Bunny Ice Cream, Franklin Street Bakery, B Smith's Olive Oil and Ken Davis BBQ.
