Police Seek Two In Bde Maka Ska Pavilion Fire
Authorities are not calling the two people seen on camera suspects.

MINNEAPOLIS — Investigators from the Minneapolis Police Department are seeking the help of the public in identifying two people in connection to the fire early Thursday morning at 3000 E. Lake Calhoun Parkway. The blaze last week completely destroyed the pavilion and the restaurant located inside of it, Lola on the Lake.
Investigators Tuesday released images of a man and a woman who were at the pavilion between 3:00 and 3:30 a.m. when the fire started, according to police.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of these two individuals is asked to call the MPD Arson Investigation Tip Line at (612) 673-3070.

Information leading to the identification of these individuals may qualify for a reward.
The release of the images comes after officials had first suggested that a lightning strike may have caused the fire last week. However, police said Tuesday that lightning has been ruled out as a factor in the blaze.
