Poll: Approval Rating For Gov. Tim Walz Surges Upward

TWIN CITIES, MN — A new poll shows that more Minnesotans approve of Gov. Tim Walz’s job as governor. It indicates that voters are supportive of the way Walz has handled the coronavirus crisis.

The Star Tribune/MPR News/KARE 11 Minnesota Poll found that the governor has a 65 percent approval rating, and that two out of every three registered voters support his performance.

Thirty percent of voters disapprove of his performance, the poll shows.
