Tuesday was the last day at the station for the Minnesota native.
MINNEAPOLIS — A popular TV reporter in the Twin Cities announced Tuesday that it was her last day at the station. Minnesota native Mary McGuire has left WCCO-TV.
"This was not an easy decision for me to make," she wrote on Facebook. "Working in your hometown is a dream for many reporters and I feel very fortunate to have done so. Thank you for allowing me to tell your stories. It has made me love Minnesota even more."
Before joining WCCO, McGuire worked in Tampa, Florida until 2017.

Although I’m saying goodbye to WCCO, I am not leaving Minnesota! I mean, come on. I carry a “Princess Kay of the Milky Way” trading card in my wallet pic.twitter.com/sJyBLMAiRT
