MINNEAPOLIS, MN — If you need any more evidence of how improbable Stefon Diggs' game-winning touchdown was Sunday, know that New Orleans coach Sean Payton was already celebrating a Saints victory just before it happened.
With 25 seconds left on the clock and the Saints up 24-23, Payton faced Vikings fans on the north side of U.S. Bank Stadium and mockingly did the "Skol clap," the Star Tribune reported. Moments later, Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs raced down the sidelines to complete the "Minneapolis Miracle."
This isn't the first time Payton's antics have come back to haunt him. In their week 14 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, the Saints coach made a choke sign at running back Devonta Freeman.

Payton later said he regretted the gesture, CBS reported.
The Vikings move on to play the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday in the NFC Championship. If the Vikings win, they'll be the first team in NFL history to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium.
