Shooting At Minneapolis Convenience Store Leaves 4 Injured

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Police say four people were injured Wednesday in a shooting at a Minneapolis convenience store.

Minneapolis police officers from the fourth precinct responded to Super USA, located at 3807 Fremont Avenue North at about 6:00 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they located two adult males who had been shot. Officers provided medical care to the victims until paramedics from North Memorial Medical Center (NMMC) arrived.

The two males were transported to NMMC by ambulance. One of the males was taken to surgery and is said to be in critical condition according to medical staff.

The second male, who was transported by ambulance, suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his abdomen.

While officers were at the hospital a third adult male victim showed up with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his arm, according to a news release.

Police say a fourth shooting victim, an adult male, showed up at NMMC with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his hand.

Officers from the fourth precinct will be out in the neighborhood Thursday talking with the community about the shooting. Anyone with questions or information is encouraged to speak with the officers.

Investigators from the Minneapolis Police Department and the department’s crime lab responded to the scene.

Police say there is no suspect information that can be released at this time.
