Southbound I-35W Will Shut Down In Minneapolis This Weekend
The closure will take place so crews can repair concrete pavement on the highway.

MINNEAPOLIS — Starting on Friday at 10 p.m., I-35W between Interstate 94 and Highway 62/Crosstown in Minneapolis will be shut down. The closure will take place so crews can repair concrete pavement on southbound I-35W.
During that time, motorists will be detoured using westbound I-94, westbound Interstate 394, southbound Highway 100, and eastbound Highway 62 to bypass the closure.
"When possible, motorists should avoid cutting through neighborhoods and help keep the community safe by using posted detour routes," the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
