MINNEAPOLIS — It happened again. A squirrel running madly around Target Field caused the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox to pause play for the second time in two nights Tuesday.

With slugger Nelson Cruz up to bat, the squirrel dashed across the baseball diamond, and the umpire was forced to halt the game, mid-pitch.

The rodent ran through Max Kepler's legs before sprinting by home plate and jumping into the White Sox dugout. It later jumped into the crowd and hung out with the fans for a bit.
