State Patrol Helicopter, Officers Locate Suspect In Edina Marsh: Cops

A suspect crashed on Highway 100 and fled into a wooded marsh area in the southwest metro, according to police.

EDINA, MN — Police from two different cities and a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter worked together to find a suspect in a wooded marsh area in the southwest metro early Tuesday morning.

At about 2:30 a.m., Eden Prairie officers were in pursuit of a vehicle going east on Highway 62. The car then crashed on Highway 100, and the driver of the vehicle fled, according to authorities.

Police and a State Patrol helicopter found the suspect in the marsh.
