Survey: Minneapolis is Second Best City for July 4th
According to a new WalletHub survey, Minneapolis is the second best city for celebrating Independence Day.

Minneapolis, MN – If you’ve celebrated the 4th of July in Minneapolis before, you might not be surprised to learn that the city ranks near the top of a new list for the best 4th of July destinations.
According to a new WalletHub survey, Minneapolis ranks second overall in the nation, just behind Seattle. St. Paul ranked 29th overall on the list.
The survey used 16 different metrics, such as the duration of fireworks shows, attractions and activities, average gas prices, weather forecasts and more.

Minneapolis ranked first in attractions and activities, 27th in entertainment and food, and 34th in weather forecast.
Minneapolis' “Red, White and Boom” celebration on the 4th of July concludes with fireworks starting at 10 p.m., which will be shot off from Water Power Park. Among the best places to view the fireworks is from the downtown Minneapolis riverfront.
