Vikings TE: Media Member Took My Gloves, Now They're On Ebay
The Minnesota Vikings tight end was told that his gloves would go to charity. They're now on eBay.

MINNEAPOLIS — Following his game-winning, overtime touchdown to beat the New Orleans Saints Sunday, Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph gave his now-famous gloves away to a media member who asked for them.
According to Rudolph, the media member said the gloves would go to a charity event. With this in mind, the legendary Vikings player offered to sign them.
The gloves, it appears, weren't given to a charity event. Instead, they were sold on eBay days later.

Rudolph addressed the incident on Twitter Wednesday, saying "it's disappointing" how it turned out.
I saw this.. it’s disappointing. A member of the media in the locker room after the game asked if he could have my gloves for a charity benefit, so I said of course and I will even sign them for you! Well he got me, sold on eBay 3 days later.. https://t.co/JCTO0OWM5n

The gloves were sold for $375.50 plus shipping.

"And to clarify it was not anyone I knew," Rudolph added. "so wasn't a local reporter I see daily or national reporter. Locker room was a zoo, he asked for them, I said of course and even offered to sign them..."
The item was located in Indiana at the time of auction, according to the seller. They were apparently sold by user gamegear777, who has many NFL items currently for sale.
However, the story may end in a positive fashion. The fan who purchased the gloves offered to donate them to charity.
Hey Jason, really cool of you to do this! @UMNChildrens will greatly appreciate it and I will make sure to get you my pair from this weekends game!
