Traffic Alert: Jackknifed Semi On I-94 Near Lowry Hill Tunnel

UPDATE: The Minnesota Department of Transportation said the scene of the crash was cleared at about 7 a.m. Wednesday.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The Minnesota Department of Transportation is reporting a "critical disruption" on a Twin Cities interstate Wednesday. A semi jackknifed on eastbound Interstate 94 south of the Lowry Hill Tunnel is slowing the morning commute. As of 6:30 a.m. the semi was blocking two lanes of traffic.

MnDot said the roadway will be reduced to one lane for the next two hours.
