Trump, Biden Schedule Rallies In Minnesota

The Trump and Biden campaigns are focused on winning Minnesota's 10 electoral votes this fall.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Adding more proof that Minnesota is considered battleground territory for the 2020 presidential election, both President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden are set to visit the state this month.

Biden will travel to Minnesota Sept. 18. Further details will be released at a later date.

Trump will host a "Great American Comeback" rally at the airport in Bemidji on Sept. 18. The event — which will be Trump's sixth visit to the state since his election — will begin at 4 p.m.

"The Republican Party of Minnesota is excited to welcome President Donald Trump back to our great state for the second time in a month," Republican Party of Minnesota Chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan said in a statement.

"Joe Biden’s visit is too little too late, and in 54 days, Minnesota will make history by flipping our 10 electoral votes."

Biden's visit will come days after his wife, Jill Biden, spoke at an elementary school in Prior Lake

"It’s looking good but we’re not taking any vote for granted," Jill Biden said. "I’m here on my bus tour, Joe I’m sure will be here. I’m not sure Kamala is slated to be here, but we’re all going to be here fighting for every single vote."
