'Truth Bar' Offers Eagles Fans Free Beer, But There's A Catch
Philadelphia Eagles fans may not experience "Minnesota Nice" when they arrive in Minneapolis for the 2018 Super Bowl.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — When Minnesotans arrived in Philadelphia for the NFC Championship game Sunday, they were warmly greeted with free, unopened beer cans propelled from the hands of jeering Eagles fans. Now, as Philadelphia fans arrive in Minnesota for the Super Bowl, one Minneapolis bar is offering to return the favor.
Truth Bar, a downtown establishment located just a few blocks from U.S. Bank Stadium, put out a sign Thursday morning that reads: "Eagles Fans: Stop In And Have A Free Beer Thrown At You!"
Despite the sign, the Truth Bar isn't likely to provide any free beer — thrown or otherwise. The Truth Bar isn't really a bar, but an out-of-the-box conference room for businesses, founded by Minneapolis ad agency Kruskopf & Co.

Truth Bar did not immediately return a request for comment.
"We always say 'Where does all the truth happen? It’s not at the meeting; it’s after the meeting,'" CEO Sue Kruskopf told the Star Tribune when Truth Bar opened in 2016.

How else are Minnesotans planning to welcome guests from Philadelphia? One plot involves a bunch of Vikings fans signing up as Uber drivers, picking up Eagles fans, and then dropping them off in the wrong areas, according to New England Sports Network.
Birds fans, consider this your warning.
