Twins Have '99 Percent' Chance Of Making The Playoffs
Sure, it's possible the Minnesota Twins could miss the playoffs. But not likely.

The Minnesota Twins, who went 59-103 in 2016 and finished with the worst record the major leagues, could clinch their first postseason berth since 2010 Wednesday. That's especially astonishing considering the team has been without All-Star third baseman Miguel Sano since Aug. 19 due to a shin injury.
After a four-game sweep of the Detroit Tigers, the Twins beat the red-hot Cleveland Indians 8 to 6 Tuesday in the first game of a three-game series played at Progressive Field. The Twins will clinch the last American League wildcard spot if they win one of their final games or if the Los Angeles Angels lose one.
Minnesota has a 99 percent chance of making the playoffs, according to Baseball Prospectus. That means they'll likely have popped the champaign before coming back to Target Field to finish off the season.
