UPDATE: U of M Student Reported Missing is Found Safe

UPDATE, 11:42 a.m. — The University of Minnesota Police Department reported that August Piro has been found safe.

The University of Minnesota Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in locating August J. Piro, an 18-year-old University of Minnesota student. August was last seen leaving Bailey Hall on the Saint Paul campus of the University of Minnesota at around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, according to authorities.

He has not been seen or heard from since. Authorities are concerned for his welfare.

August is described as 5'11", 180 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair; he was last seen wearing a black winter jacket with a black shirt underneath, denim jeans and black and white Converse shoes, according to a news release.
