Updates for Highway 100 Construction Project in St. Louis Park

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has released the following updates on the Highway 100 construction project:
Tue, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. through Wed, Aug. 24 at 6 a.m.:
- While crews pour concrete on the pedestrian bridge, WB Hwy 100 will be reduced to a single lane between 70th St and 77th St.
- Once crews complete pouring concrete on the side of the bridge impacting WB Hwy 100, they will move over to EB Hwy 100, reducing it to a single lane between 70th St. and 77th St.
Expect slow moving traffic throughout the night while work is completed.

Ramp Closure
Wed, Aug. 24 through late Fri, Aug. 26:

- 70th St. to SB Hwy 100 is closed
Aug. 16 through late-fall:
- SB Hwy 100 ramp to 36th St/Excelsior Blvd closed
- Crews will re-establish an exit from southbound Hwy 100 to Excelsior Blvd in by late Fri, Aug. 19, weather depending
Upcoming Weekend Road Closure:
10 p.m. Fri, Aug. 26 to 10 p.m. Sat, Aug. 27
- SB Hwy 100 between Hwy 62 and I-394 closed
West 36th St. to 25½ Street:
- Hwy 100 between Minnetonka Blvd and Hwy 62 is two lanes in each direction
Through November
- Hwy 7 between Wooddale Ave. and the Beltline is closed

- All ramps to and from both directions of Hwy 100 and Hwy 7 are closed
- Ramp from Minnetonka Blvd to SB Hwy 100 is closed
- Ramp from NB Hwy 100 to 36th St. is closed
- Ramp from 36th Street ramp to NB Hwy 100 is closed
West 36th St. to Hwy 62
July 20 to late Fri, Aug. 19
- 77th St. Bridge over Hwy 100 is closedEastbound Detour: EB: 77th St. to SB Hwy 100 to I-494 to NB Hwy 100 to EB 77th St. Westbound Detour: WB: 77th St. to NB Hwy 100 to 70th St. to SB Hwy 100 to WB 77th St.
Temporary bridge opening
- The 77th St. bridge over Hwy 100 will be open temporarily to one lane in each direction. The bridge will close again in September for final paving and striping
Nearby residences and businesses may experience some noise during nighttime construction work, according to a news release.
Construction crews will be removing pavement and repaving on both sides of the interstate to build bypass lanes to carry traffic during the upcoming third lane construction.
