Vikings' 'Minneapolis Miracle' Named Play Of The Year

Is anyone surprised?

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — It's not the Lombardi Trophy, but the Minnesota Vikings' "Minneapolis Miracle" was named play of the year at the NFL Honors Saturday. QB Case Keenum accepted the award on behalf of his team at the event held at Northrop on the University of Minnesota campus.

If you somehow don't remember the play, Keenum threw a 61-yard touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs as time expired in the divisional playoff game against the New Orleans Saints. Vikings radio announcer Paul Allen called it the "Minneapolis Miracle" in real time.

The play marked the first game-winning touchdown on the final play of the fourth quarter in NFL postseason history.
