Watch: 'Caravan of Love' Demonstrators March Through Minneapolis
A protest group of about 2000 people demonstrating in support of immigrants and refugees began marching in Minneapolis Saturday afternoon.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — On Saturday, Minneapolis police began monitoring demonstration in support of immigrants and refugees that started at the Hennepin County Government Center.
Just after 1 p.m., police said on Twitter that the protest group is estimated to be about 2000 people large.

The "Caravan of Love" marcher then walked to Minneapolis City Hall before heading to the University of Minnesota West Bank. There, they planned to "write our love notes and build a bridge of love" on the Washington Avenue pedestrian bridge, organizers told the Star Tribune.
