Weekend Anchor 'No Longer At KARE 11'

Camille Williams anchored with her husband, Cory Hepola.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Camille Williams, who co-anchored with her husband Cory Hepola for KARE 11 on weekends — surprised her fans Tuesday night when she announced her departure from the station.

"More than 10 years ago, Cory and I met in upstate NY, early in our TV broadcasting careers, dreaming of one day anchoring together," Williams wrote on Facebook. "After years of long distance, working at competing TV stations, a little time out of TV news, our dream finally came true at KARE 11."

She described her time at KARE 11 as "the most fun and best time" of her TV career, adding "I only wish we could have done it more than 2 days a week."

"Some sad news.... but I’m so proud of my superstar wife," Hepola said in his own post Wednesday morning.

Williams' post received more than a hundred comments in a matter of hours.

"NO!! I will miss you Camille! Please share more details of your leap of faith when you feel you can. I am sure this was not an easy decision for you. I hope you are taking some time for yourself and your beautiful family," wrote Barb Dinnies.

"Thank you - Leap of Faith = Exploring all options," Williams replied.

"I will miss seeing the two of you together on the weekends. The humor. The jabs. The matching colors. Best of luck in your next adventure," said Ernest Edwards.

"I wish you all the best in your next adventure. I will admit that I will miss seeing you on the weekends though," wrote Jessica Fabel.

Hepola and Williams have three children. The couple welcomed twins "Senia" and "Sevi" in 2016.
