Viral papillomatosis in dogs is a benign yet very contagious condition caused by a virus. The disease usually manifest in young dogs, who usually develop strong immunity to the disease after they have encountered it. Treatment is not usually necessary, but keep in mind that your puppy will share his warts with his other puppy friends.
