What's Open, What's Closed On Indigenous Peoples Day In MPLS
Indigenous Peoples Day is celebrated Monday, Oct. 11 in Minneapolis.
MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis city government offices, including Minneapolis 311 and the Minneapolis Service Center, will be closed Monday for Indigenous Peoples Day.
The Minneapolis Solid Waste and Recycling office and the South Transfer Station will both be closed Monday. The Early Vote Center will also be closed.
City-owned parking meters will not be enforced on the holiday.

Minneapolis city offices will reopen Tuesday.
There will be no changes to garbage and recycling pick-up schedules next week. The city's 911 and Minneapolis police and fire emergency services will not be affected.

Banks and the post office will be closed Monday.
Many other businesses, such as stores and restaurants, will remain open.
