Wilf Family Launches Investment Firm For Sports, Entertainment

The firm — launched by the Minnesota Vikings owners — will focus on investment opportunities in sports, entertainment, and real estate.

NEW YORK, NY — Minnesota Vikings owners Mark and Zygi Wilf and the Wilf Family have formally launched an investment fund based in Manhattan. WISE (Wilf Innovative Sports and Entertainment) Ventures will focus on early investment opportunities in sports, entertainment and real estate.

“We have a passion for investing in, and collaborating with, next-gen companies who are on the leading edge of ideas that can ultimately enhance people’s lives,” Mark Wilf said in a statement.

“With our deep industry networks and management experience, we are able to assess, champion and add value to accelerate growth in rapidly evolving industries.”

Highlighting the current portfolio are the following:

  • Latch: A smart access system that provides entry to every door in a modern building, allowing residents to create temporary access codes for guests and service providers.
  • SportsHub Games Network: Game content provider that distributes real money fantasy sports games and contests. SportsHub’s portfolio of clients includes the NCAA, PGA Tour, NASCAR, NBA and the NHL.
  • Tonal: At-home digital strength-training system providing personalized guidance for full body workouts that can be done on from home.

WISE Ventures is also seeking opportunities in streaming media, data analytics, fitness and health technologies, gaming and communications platforms, the firm said in a news release Tuesday.
