MINNEAPOLIS — A Wisconsin man will receive $1.25 million in a settlement after his foot was injured at U.S. Bank Stadium in 2019.

Tom Ugoretz — of Marshfield, Wisconsin — and his wife were in town for a Garth Brooks concert at the stadium when the incident occurred.

According to the lawsuit against the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, Ugoretz was standing near a gate when a large steel hydraulic wedge-shaped barrier lowered onto Ugoretz's foot, the Star Tribune reported.
