Woman, 61, Dies After Falling From Vehicle On I-94 In Minneapolis
The Minnesota State Patrol says the woman fell from a vehicle on westbound I-94 near Highway 65 and was struck by other cars.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A 61-year-old Minneapolis woman died early Wednesday after falling from a vehicle on westbound Interstate 94 and being struck by other traffic, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on westbound I-94 near the interchange with Interstate 35W and Highway 65 in Minneapolis, according to the State Patrol. The woman had been a passenger in a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe.
Road conditions were dry at the time, the State Patrol said. The woman's name had not been released as of Wednesday afternoon pending notification of her family.

Minneapolis police and fire crews, Hennepin County Sheriff's deputies and Hennepin Healthcare EMS responded to the scene, along with the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The State Patrol said the investigation is ongoing.
