Woman Dies From Apparent Drowning In Downtown Minneapolis Hot Tub

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — One woman is dead after apparently drowning in a hot tub Friday night, authorities said. On March 2, Hennepin County Sheriff's deputies, Minneapolis police officers and paramedics responded to a call of an unconscious woman in a hot tub at the 400 block of 7th St. S. in Downtown Minneapolis at about 11:00 p.m.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics, according to a news release.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is investigating in the incident. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will announce the official cause of death.
