Workplace Crash: Semi Runs Over Man, Kills Him
The man was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center where he died a short time later.
MINNEAPOLIS — One man is dead after he was run over by a semi Thursday morning. Authorities say at 9:20 a.m., officers from the Minneapolis Police Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at a business on the 1500 block of North 2nd Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a man who was on site for a business purpose who had been struck by a semi-truck, gravely injuring him. The man was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center where he died a short period of time later, according to a news release.
The driver remained on scene and is fully cooperating with the investigation, as well as witnesses who were also present, police said.

The fatal incident happened at Re-Alliance Iron and Metal, according to the Star Tribune.
Minneapolis Police Department Crime Lab personnel responded to collect evidence and document the area. The Minnesota State Patrol arrived and will be reconstructing the crash.
