You May Hear A 'Growl Test' In Minneapolis Monday
Don't be alarmed if you hear a strange noise in Minneapolis Monday morning.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Hennepin County officials are giving residents a heads up if they hear a strange or alarming noise Monday.
Three sirens in Minneapolis are receiving maintenance Monday morning and will undergo what's known as a "growl" tests. This is a part of routine maintenance and no cause for alarm, officials said.
Growl testing on these sirens should only last the day.
