Comcast Will Offer Free MLB Network Preview For MN Twins Game
Comcast reversed its decision Wednesday, meaning Twins fans will now be able to watch the Friday game against the New York Yankees for free.
MINNEAPOLIS — In a reversal of its earlier decision, Comcast announced Wednesday that it will indeed offer a free preview of MLB Network for Minnesota Twins fans hoping to watch their team take on the New York Yankees in the playoffs Friday.
A Comcast spokesperson issued the following statement to Patch Wednesday afternoon:
"Comcast will make the MLB Network free preview available to all customers in time for Friday’s Twins-Yankees playoff game. Video customers will have access to MLB Network at no additional cost through October 11. The MLB Network free preview will be available on the following channels: 272/733 SD, 873/1219 HD. Customers can also say “watch MLB Network” into their Xfinity Voice Remote."

Comcast initially said on Tuesday that it would not be providing a free preview of MLB Network, a niche channel that many residents don't normally have access to.
