13.5 on the Lake Wobegon Trail

What a beautiful weekend!

I am continuing to search out adventures even with my broken digit.
Over the weekend, I had an outing on the Lake Wobegon Trail.  I biked on Blue Betty while my work out buddies roller bladed, and we did a 13.5 mile out and back trek.  I won't say that it was an easy ride, as the saddle and the handle bars aren't very comfortable.  The rescue of this great bike from a St Paul alley dumpster was a huge win, and now Blue Betty lives at my parent's cabin.  It's perfect on dirt roads and trails, and 3 generations have used her since her rescue!

No matter where your travels lead you this summer, check with their chamber of commerce or city and county website to see what types of trails they have that you could explore.  It will be worth every minute of planning.
