2-Year-Old Run Over By Car Outside Elementary School: Police

RAMSEY, MN — A 2-year-old child was hospitalized after he was run over by a vehicle at an elementary school in the city of Ramsey, according to police. The child's condition is currently unknown, authorities said Wednesday afternoon.

On Wednesday at about 9:15 a.m., Ramsey police and fire crews, along with Allina paramedics, responded to a report of a child run over at Brookside Elementary.

The child was treated at the scene and then airlifted to a hospital.
Ramsey police and the Anoka County Sheriff's Office are investigating the incident.
