2016 Veterans Day Ceremony in Stillwater

A Veterans Day ceremony will be held at the Stillwater Veterans Memorial beginning at 11:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 11th, after the annual downtown Stillwater salute to veterans at 11:00 a.m. These events will honor local veterans from all branches of the armed forces.

The Stillwater Area High School Brass Ensemble will perform patriotic music, and there will be presentation of the colors, a remembrance of veterans, and a keynote address, according to the Stillwater Veterans Memorial website.

This year’s guest speaker is Stillwater City Councilman and retired U.S. Navy Captain Doug Menikheim.

The Stillwater Veterans Memorial is located at 138 Pine St W, Stillwater, MN 55082. This event is free and open to the public.
