3 Minnesotans Die On Interstate 94 In Fiery Wisconsin Crash
The fatal crash occurred when a vehicle crossed the median and struck another vehicle heading in the opposite direction, authorities said.
DUNN COUNTY, WI — Three men from Minnesota were killed Thursday on Interstate 94 after a vehicle crossed the median and struck another vehicle heading in the opposite direction, authorities said. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, Serghei Kundilovski, 36, of California was driving the 2004 black Mitsubishi that crossed the I-94 median in Dunn County Thursday.
On July 13 at about 5:44 p.m., the Eau Claire State Patrol Post received multiple driving complaints of a black vehicle that crossed the median and was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-94 near milepost 37 at a high rate of speed.
Near milepost 33.5, the black vehicle collided head on with a gray vehicle traveling eastbound, according to authorities. The gray vehicle started on fire at the scene.

Adam G. Kendhammer, 32, Jeremy Berchem, 27, and Bryan Rudell, 29, all from Minnesota, died in the crash. The driver of the black vehicle was airlifted to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
