4 Stillwater Educators Nominated For MN Teacher Of The Year
These four Stillwater educators are among just 132 teachers who were chosen across Minnesota this year.

Four Stillwater Area Public School educators have been nominated for Minnesota Teacher of the Year. They are among just 132 teachers who were chosen across the state.
- Erin Nickleby, Health and Physical Education teacher at Stillwater Area High School
- Katy Pupungatoa, Science and STEM teacher at Oak-Land Junior High
- Tate Schoeberlein, Behavioral Specialist at Stonebridge Elementary
- Andrew Weaver, Science teacher at Stillwater Area High School
Candidates include pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade and Adult Basic Education teachers, from public or private schools, according to a news release from the district.
The 2017 Minnesota Teacher of the Year will be announced Sunday, May 7. Over the coming weeks, a 25-member panel of community leaders will name a group of semifinalists and finalists.
