8-Year-Old In Coma After Falling 50 Feet
The boy is recovering after falling at a Minnesota state park on the St. Croix River.

CHISAGO COUNTY, MN — A boy is recovering after falling 50 feet from a rock at a state park. On the afternoon of Oct. 18, the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at Interstate Park in Taylors Falls.
The child was picked up by a watercraft and taken to shore, where he was met by Lakes Regions EMS. He was transported to St. Croix Hospital in "serious condition."
According to a GoFundMe page, the boy — Jacari Foote, 8 — suffered fractures in his face and skull, as well as internal injuries. He is in an induced coma until his brain can heal before for surgery.

"With him having to stay in the hospital and have a long road of uncertainty ahead of them, his mom Tatiana Thompson and dad Eugene Foote are by his side 24/7," the page states.
"They are not able to work so they can be by his side in this time of need and we do not want them to worry about anything other than Jacari getting better. If anyone can please help out by donating, sharing or just sending prayers, anything will be appreciated."
