A Man With BB Gun Ends Movie Shoot On Main Street Stillwater

An officer reported seeing a man cross the street and enter Pub Monique on Main Street with what appeared to be a gun.

A woman outside the establishment reportedly yelled “the man has a gun.”   The officer ran inside the pub and located the man with the gun.

The gun was actually a BB gun with black electrical tape covering the orange ring around the barrel. The man informed the officer they were filming a short film.

The man also told the officer they did not have a film production permit as they thought they didn’t need one on private property.

The St. Paul man was cited for disorderly conduct and the BB gun was seized for evidence. The pub owner was cited for an ordinance violation, for not getting a filming permit from the city.
