• Stillwater voters see results of $175 million school plan (kstp.com) — Stillwater residents are now seeing their 2023 $175 million school facilities vote pay off, with two new elementary schools open, including a spacious, flexible Lake Elmo Elementary. Designed for future growth, the school currently enrolls about 800 students but can hold 1,100, easing crowding as nearby housing developments expand and giving local kids more modern, adaptable learning spaces.
• Girls tennis: Mounds View hands Ponies first SEC setback (hometownsource.com) — Stillwater's Ponies girls tennis team took a tough 7–0 conference loss to powerhouse Mounds View, then dropped a tight 4–3 nonconference match at Chisago Lakes. Despite the setbacks, several Stillwater players pushed opponents to three sets, and the team remains active in Suburban East Conference play with more home matches on the schedule.
