Go Buy Local Gives $2330 to Stillwater Area Schools on Behalf of Greater Stillwater Businesses

Go Buy Local, provided by Go Kids Day Network, is committed to supporting communities through buy local-give local marketing services.  Working with local businesses, Go Buy Local creatively engages consumers who live and work in the Greater Stillwater area to buy local through online deals, causes, fundraising, seasonal, social media and email relationship marketing.  In addition to strengthening local business, 10% of each ad dollar goes directly to private and public schools in the greater Stillwater community.  Camille, from St. Croix Catholic School said it best, “The concept of Go Buy Local is such a win-win-win for all involved!”

In their first year, Go Buy Local raised over $100,000 for local schools/nonprofits which funded new technology, classroom items, field trips, and more…all right in the communities we serve. “We used the donation as part of our “angel” funds that help cover the cost of items that some students cannot afford, says Chuck Ochocki, Principal of Stillwater Junior High School.
