What you need to do to support your kids re-entry into the school germ pool.

If I had a nickle for everytime my kids got sick the week after school started, I would be holden lots of nickles. Truthfully, it has been so great since I figured out it was best to help them prepare, rather than deal with the after effects of returning to the germ pool unprotected.
My boys refuse to listen to me about washing their hands frequently. Truth be known my 13 year old would be happy taking a shower once a week for his clean and fresh feeling. Unfortunately when we are dealing with this type of germ load, hundreds of these filthy little animals (sweet to us as they may be) running around together sharing sweat, spit and hand germs, we are dealing with the need for protection. I have humbley learned from my best physician clients that prevention is the best insurance. I have been advised that the road to health is paved with good intestines. My other focus is Vitamin D3 with K2. Vitamin D3 has been widely appreciated for it's immune support. Of course we always have the old faithfulls, Vit C and Zinc. In my experience, I instruct my kids drink a whole bottle of the Ulitmate Aloe and a double serving of Vit D3 for two days. By the end of the second day they are usually right as rain!
Just make sure that your kids get plenty of rest, water, basic nutrition, and immune support in the few weeks leading up to school start as well as the 4 weeks after.
