Chamber Celebrates “All American Segway, LLC” Grand Opening in Lakeland
The Chamber is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of "All American Segway." The new local business offers residents Segway tours and rentals, and now, has a storefront in Lakeland.
The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of “All American Segway, LLC.” The new local business offers residents Segway tours and rentals, and now, has a storefront in Lakeland.
The Lakeland storefront officially opened on April 1 of this year, Ken Smith, owner of All American Segway, saw a need for such business in the Greater Stillwater area and therefore, decided to expand. Smith had previously ran the business out of his home for years, and would commute to Apple Valley or Stillwater daily to give tours.
With business picking up, Smith saw a need for storefront and with that, opened up his new office in Lakeland. Together, Smith and his general manager, Jeff Burkett, coordinate rentals and tour locations.

Both Smith and Burkett offer offsite rentals and tours to the Lakeland, Stillwater and Apple Valley areas. Tours in the Stillwater area last approximately 90 minutes, Smith explains. Popular tour sites include Lake McKusick, Pioneer Park, Lakefront Park and Hudson. Smith and Burkett are both extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Segway’s and make for perfect tour guides.
“Segway’s are good for recreation, leisure, business events, commuting and simple health reasons,” said Smith. “Stillwater has an abundance of trails and active citizens, it makes it perfect for everyone to experience a Segway.”

According to Smith, All American Segway’s are great for family gatherings, neighborhood parties, parades, team building, company events, warehouse efficiency, conventions, and the every day local commute.
All American Segway now makes the experience of a Segway a local and easy hobby. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 11th. Together, the All American Segway Staff gave tours of their new business and explained the expansion to the Greater Stillwater area.
